The Department of Orthodontics at Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College and Research Centre celebrated World Orthodontic Health Day on 15th May 2026. The event was organized with the theme “Beyond Straight Teeth”, highlighting the broader impact of orthodontic treatment on oral health, function, and overall well-being.
As part of the celebration, a Face Painting Competition and a Reel Making Competition were conducted. A total of 15 participants took part in the face painting competition, while 4 participants competed in the reel-making event. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students enthusiastically participated and showcased their creativity and awareness regarding orthodontic health.
The winners of the competitions were felicitated by the Dean, Dr. Abhay Kolte, and the Head of the Department of Orthodontics, Dr. Ananya Hazare. Participation certificates were distributed to all participants in recognition of their efforts and involvement.
