A local CDE – Master class (Adjunct faculty activity) for III BDS students and Interns was also conducted and Dr. Vinay Hazarey, Ex-Dean GDC & H, Nagpur and an Internationally renowned Anti-Tobacco activist was invited as a Speaker for the event, where he spoke on Oral Pre-cancer & Cancer and Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders. On occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Dept. of Oral Pathology & Microbiology organised various activities for students and interns for spreading awareness about the hazards of Tobacco. Drawing competition on topic Tobacco Hazards was conducted for Interns, Slogan competition was conducted for I BDS students and a Rally in association with Student Council was conducted for spreading Tobacco hazards awareness in the college campus. Dr. Neena Dongre (Lecturer, Dept. of Oral Pathology & Microbiology, RDDC&RC, Nagpur) delivered a lecture for I BDS emphasising on the ‘Tobacco Hazards’.
