A Continuing Dental Education (CDE) program was successfully organized by the Department of Prosthodontics, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre, Nagpur on 25 th March 2026 at Pride Hall for dental interns and Esthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry Fellowship Students.

The topic of the program was “Aesthetic Edge: Precision Begins at the Bur”, which focused on the importance of precision in tooth preparation and the role of burs in achieving optimal prosthodontic outcomes.

The session was delivered by Dr. Sukriti Saxena, Prosthodontist, Prodoct Manager, PreciDent, India who shared her expertise and clinical insights on aesthetic dentistry. She emphasized the significance of selecting appropriate burs, maintaining precision during preparation, and integrating advanced techniques to enhance aesthetic results in prosthodontic practice. The lecture was highly informative, clinically relevant, and well appreciated by the attendees.

The program was conducted specifically for interns and Esthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry Fellowship Students to enhance their clinical knowledge and skills. The session included interactive discussions, where participants actively engaged and clarified their doubts regarding clinical applications.

Der. Neelam Pande, HOD delivered Welcome speech and Dr. Abhay Kolte, Dean, RDDC & RC encourage interns to actively participate in this event. The event was efficiently coordinated by Dr. Akhil Rathi and Dr. Jaishree Chahande, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the program.

The program was organized under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Neelam Pande, whose constant support and encouragement contributed significantly to the success of the event at Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental college and Research, Nagpur.

The session was attended by 114 delegates, including faculty members, postgraduate students, Fellowship Students and interns.
