On the occasion of World Health Day on 7 th April 2026, Department of Prosthodontics, Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research centre, Nagpur successfully organized Add on course: “Dental Lasers: Understanding More than a Dozen Multi-Speciality Applications” to upgrade the clinical knowledge in dental field. The lecture and demonstration about Dental Lasers for the Teaching staff, PG students & Esthetic & Cosmetic Dentistry Fellowship students was conducted at Pride hall by Guest Speaker, Dr. Neha Sodhi Khajuria, Periodontist/Laser Specialist, Associate Fellow in Laser Dentistry (AFLD) (AALT –Singapore) KOL – Novolase Technologies. The speaker emphasized on multiple uses of Lasers in almost all the field of dentistry. She explained from the basics of lasers to the demonstration of dental laser unit clinically with various clinical cases.
More than 110 participants attended the event. The program was highly interactive, informative and clinically relevant. The participants actively engaged and clarified their doubts regarding clinical applications of dental lasers in all fields and event well appreciated by everyone.
