The NSS unit of Ranjeet Deshmukh Dental College & Research Centre under the supervision of public Health Dentistry organized an oral health awareness rally on 24th March 2026 at Gram panchayat Dugipar, Bhandara dist. The rally was conducted as part of the celebrations of World Oral Health Day, observed globally on 20 th March 2026, with the aim of promoting awareness about the importance of maintaining good oral hygiene and overall health. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from NSS volunteers, who actively engaged in spreading awareness among the local community. A total of 51 volunteers took part in the rally, carrying informative placards and hoardings displaying key messages on oral health, such as the importance of regular brushing, healthy dietary habits, and routine dental check-ups.The rally was conducted in the presence of the respected Sarpanch, Mrs. Kirantai Hatwar, and eminent social worker, Shri Chandrakant Ganvir, whose presence encouraged and motivated the participants. The rally passed through various areas of the community, where volunteers interacted with the public and educated them on preventive measures for common oral diseases. The activity aimed to sensitize the community about oral health as an integral part of general health and well-being. It also emphasized the significance of early detection and prevention of dental problems.
